Microbiologist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Microbiologist to join our growing laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about microbiology to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control testing while working alongside experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art facility.

Roles & responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing including bioburden, sterility, and environmental monitoring
• Prepare culture media, reagents, and testing materials following SOPs
• Collect and process samples according to established procedures
• Document all testing activities accurately and maintain detailed laboratory records
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to protocols
• Assist in the investigation of deviations and out-of-specification results
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory work areas
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science field
• 1+ year of laboratory experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong academics considered)
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile processing
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP laboratory practices
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational abilities
